I read the January issue of the CANS Newsletter with great interest. You have done a great job as the new editor, and I applaud your excellent work.

I particularly enjoyed the new  Journal Club feature; the newsletter readers will be treated in future issues to many socioeconomic articles of interest in the medical, surgical, and neurosurgical literature. Giving the perspective of a resident and an attending neurosurgeon, as you did in this issue, would be of great interest. This will hopefully generate a strong discussion through letters to the editor.
